APPLICATION FORM ASSOCIATE MEMBERSHIP APPLICATION FORM JUNIOR MEMBERSHIP

The Cornish Federation of Male Voice Choirs (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Federation’) is registered with the Charities Commission - No 2922246. A copy of the Constitution of the Federation is sent to all member choirs and is also available to members on request.

Full Membership of the Cornish Federation of Male Voice Choirs is open to any male voice choir or male choral group in Cornwall that is a properly constituted Charitable Choir.

Associate Membership of the Federation is open to any male voice choir or male choral group outside Cornwall that is a properly constituted Charitable Choir.

Junior Membership of the Federation is open to any properly organised young male choir or young male choral group within Cornwall (whose singers are generally under 18 years of age).

In all cases, the choir must be a Charitable Choir which does not distribute its income to its members in cash or kind but uses its funds for the purpose of further promoting its choral activities.

Subscriptions are paid by all members annually. These are due in April each year. See Application Form for subscription rates.

BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP

Full Members

1. Full members are invited to participate in any Federation concert or event, according to the rules applied at the time for each concert/event. Federation events other than concerts may include workshops, competitions, charity fund raising events, promotions via radio and TV or other events organised to promote male voice singing.

2. Full members are invited to send up to 2 representatives to the Federation’s quarterly meetings, such representatives being able to vote on proposals made at the meeting. Agenda and Minutes of these meetings are sent to the choir’s Secretary and Federation Representatives. Meetings are undertaken in accordance with the rules of the Constitution of the Federation.
